Claire Braund steps into role of CCCM Board President

22-Jul-2021

Central Coast Conservatorium of Music are pleased to advise that our Board this week ratified Claire Braund as its new President, following the decision by Peter Brandon to step down from the role.

Claire, who previously served in the role of Vice-President, is known to many of you for her work in securing the funding for our building upgrade and work on the Premises Committee and for her service and dedication to the advancement of the Conservatorium.
In her professional life, Claire is the co-founder of Women on Boards and is an influential social entrepreneur on the Central Coast who also serves on the board of Coast Shelter. The Management Team is delighted to be working with Claire in her new role as President.

On behalf of the Board and the CCCM community, we would like to thank Peter who has loyally served the Conservatorium for many years in a range of capacities, most recently as President. His commitment to the Conservatorium, its programs, staff and students has been evident to all who have worked with him and we all remain forever grateful for his service as President. Peter will continue to serve on the Board and will redirect his time and focus on leading the planning for the Conservatorium's 40th anniversary celebrations in 2023.
