Charmian & Friends Celebrate Cellist Georg Pedersen

Join Charmian & Friends in celebrating cellist Georg Pedersen's 75th Birthday, and his official retirement after 30 years of teaching at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

The program will include Schubert's famous Arpeggione Sonata for cello and piano. After interval Charmian Gadd, Tony Gault, Phillip Shovk and Georg Pedersen will perform Brahms' stunning masterpiece, the C minor Piano Quartet.

"Georg is an energetic and enthusiastic person with passionate views. He has created generations of fine cellists and will continue teaching and playing into his so-called retirement" - Charmian Gadd.

The Central Coast Conservatorium of Music is immensely grateful to Georg Pedersen's contribution to music education as a teacher, and for donating his time to fundraise for our Strings Scholarship Program.
