The story of Elijah reflects a timeless response to upheaval and injustice and the stand against corruption\, resonating with the world today. \nElijah is a deeply human figure – one who wrestles with exhaustion\, burnout and self-doubt. First performed in 1846\, Elijah has become one of the most celebrated oratorios in the choral repertoire.
