Do you want to learn guitar?

Our Guitar School has been operating for the past 40 years when legendary guitarist and teacher Don Andrews first set sight on the Central Coast.

Since then, we have been dedicated to enriching the musical life of so many students whom in turn have enriched us through their performances, achievements, or simply through the enjoyment of making music.

Today our highly experienced and qualified guitar teachers – Guy Strazz, Steve Smillie and Ash Turner – continue this tradition in our spacious new studios where we offer the finest tuition from beginner to advanced level in modern, contemporary, and classical guitar.

In addition to individual lessons, we offer guitar groups such as the Guitar Club for primary and high school-age students, the jazz ensemble, the classical guitar ensemble, and the contemporary guitar group.

At the end of each term, we have a guitar concert practice evening as well as other performance opportunities for our students throughout the year.

We are pleased to offer two annual guitar scholarships supported by  our sponsor Music Centre Gosford – the Music Centre Gosford Senior Guitar Scholarship and Music Centre Gosford Junior Guitar Scholarship. The inaugural recipients of these scholarships in 2023 were Jerome Drobot and Kairavan Selverejan.

Our guitar students are also welcome to apply for our other competitive scholarships. For more details on our Scholarships click HERE.

We also run jazz and classical guitar ensembles and contemporary guitar group.
Our Guitar Club is a group guitar lesson for primary and high-school age students.
We offer one-to-one lessons for all ages in jazz, funk, contemporary, blues and more.
