French Horn teacher
Lilly was born and raised in Sydney. She comes from a very musical family. She is currently studying a bachelor of music (performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on the French Horn. Her brother is also studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on the bassoon. At the age of 16, she was awarded her grade 8 qualifications from the Australian Music Examinations Board and she has a very busy playing schedule. Lilly plays in the Sydney Conservatorium symphony orchestra and the Sydney Conservatorium opera orchestra. She is also a member of the flagship Sydney Youth Orchestra and she has played with the Central Coast Opera Orchestra (Carmen 2017). Lilly has also played with various community orchestras including the Kuringai Philharmonic Orchestra, The Metropolitan Orchestra and The Balmain Sinfonia. Lilly is very passionate about teaching French Horn, she loves to help students reach their full potential, and she is proud of her students when they excel in their exams. Lilly was awarded the Jamieson Cup by Wenona School for her services to music. She currently mentors horn students in the Abbotsleigh School orchestra and she has been a mentor for young horn players in the Regional Youth Orchestra program. Lilly has also been teaching private horn students. Lilly brings her passion for playing and teaching horn to the Central Coast Conservatorium.
Lilly will be taking on our French Horn students in 2018.
