Classical Guitar Ensemble
This group is an exciting new opportunity for players 14 and up to experience the beauty of repertoire of 4 and 5 guitar arrangements. The pieces range form intermediate to advanced levels, and therefore the ability to read music from 3rd/4th grade minimum is essential. The music covers a range of styles from classical to contemporary music suited to the classical and flamenco type guitars. There is no age restriction, all you need is your guitar and some regular practice. We meet in the Robert Knox Hall fortnightly, which ads to the experience with being able to enjoy a really good sound. Moreover, there are four performances per year – one in each school term as well as other opportunities to perform.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays 5.45pm to 6.450pm
