Schools Program Events
BIG DAY OUT
This annual event is always much anticipated by students in our program and for many is the highlight of their year. It is a whole day event where students gather together to form a large, combined schools band run by our senior conductors, as well as participate in workshop style lessons with our teachers.
Students work together throughout the day, learning and rehearsing some new music which is then showcased in an afternoon performance for family and friends.
BAND FEST
Towards the end of each year, the Schools Program hosts our annual Band Fest event where school bands are invited to perform in front of their peers as well as family and friends in a friendly competition style event.
This is an opportunity for all of our school bands to showcase the work they have done throughout the year and to receive valuable feedback and awards from an independent guest adjudicator.
