Applications are now open for 20 extraordinary young people aged 7-8 from the Central Coast.
This opportunity is a 5-year scholarship valued at over $5,000 and will prepare students to join the Central Coast Youth Orchestra and/or the Central Coast Chamber Orchestra.
Successful applicants will be chosen based on music aptitude. Children who can sing back a melody, clap or tap back a rhythm and can imitate a violin or cello teacher demonstrating how to hold and play the instruments are strongly encouraged to apply and try out for a place in the Targeted String Musician Program.

Financial assistance through the scholarship will enable 20 lucky students to consolidate their musical education and performance skills and build our youth orchestras of the future.
