DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the end of Term 1\, the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music is inviting all Schools Music Program band students to a FREE Holiday Band Workshop!\nBecause this term was a little shorter (and some schools got a later start)\, we wanted to give you a chance to play more\, learn more\, and have some fun together!\n\nWHAT’S HAPPENING?:\nA fun\, relaxed morning of music-making with other band students!\nConcert Band students will take on a challenge: learn a brand new piece in just a few hours\nTraining Band students will explore new songs together (don’t forget your Flying Start book!)\n\nDETAILS:\nDate: Monday 13 April\nTime: 9:00am – 12:00pm\nLocation: Gosford Presbyterian Church\, 14 Young St\, Gosford West (behind Red Rooster)\nOpen to all band instruments and both Concert & Training Band students\n(percussionists – get ready! You’ll be rotating through drum kits and exploring a range of auxiliary percussion instruments)\nBest part? It’s completely FREE!\n\nWHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO:\nJust register at the link below so we can organise music\, staff and everything we need for the day.\nREGISTER HERE\n\nWHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING:\nYour instrument\nConcert band – sheet music folder\nTraining band – flying start books\nA pencil for writing on music\nA refillable water bottle\nA snack (no nuts please)\n\n\nWHAT DO YOU NEED TO WEAR:\nComfortable clothes – layers in case it gets hot or cold.\nClosed-toe shoes.  No thongs please.\n\nWe’d love to see as many of you there as possible – it’s going to be a great morning of music\, friends\, and fun.

DESCRIPTION:The Central Coast Philharmonia Choir launches its 2026 season with the first concert Seasons of Light – the music of Gjeilo – a concert inspired by the breathtaking music of contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo. \nDrawing on themes of time\, light\, earth and eternity\, this programme journeys through the four seasons; Autumn\, Winter\, Summer and Spring – weaving together Gjeilo’s atmospheric works with a curated selection of complementary composers. Gjeilo’s music is known for its sense of space\, warmth\, and cinematic beauty and this concert invites the audience to experience that feeling of vastness and serenity. With selected pieces featuring solo instrumentalists\, expect moments of intimate stillness as well as powerful choral resonance. \nStep into a world of shimmering soundscapes in this uplifting concert celebrating nature\, renewal and the changing of the seasons.
