AMEB Examinations

Central Coast Conservatorium of Music is the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) Central Coast Examination Centre.

Application Dates:

  • Applications for 2026 AMEB Exams are now open.
    • First Regional Session Applications close on Monday 30th March 2026.
    • Second Regional Session Applications close on Tuesday 18th Aug 2026.

Exam Dates:

  • First Regional Session (all instruments), to be held at the Central Coast Conservatorium: Tuesday 9 June 2026 – Friday 3 July 2026
  • Second Regional Session (piano only), to be held at the Central Coast Conservatorium: Monday 26 October 2026 to Saturday 31 October 2026

If you are looking to enrol yourself or your child into an AMEB Exam being held at Central Coast Conservatorium of Music in Gosford, you will need to fill in the application form below. Note: Only CCCM students are to use the form below.

Upon completion of the application form our admin team will contact your teacher for approval. You will then be sent an invoice for the enrolment fees via email to be paid prior to CCCM lodging with AMEB.

Please note the following:

  • It is important to consult with your teacher when completing the application form to make sure you select the correct exam to sit. Your teacher will need to approve the details once your form has been submitted.
  • Candidates will not be enrolled in an exam unless all CCCM tuition fees have been paid and the AMEB exam fee (plus $10 Conservatorium processing fee) has been paid.
  • A list of AMEB fees and AMEB Subject Codes can be viewed HERE.
  • Teachers and parents should familiarise themselves with the AMEB NSW policies as they form part of the conditions for enrolment in an AMEB Exam. Policies can be found HERE

Accompanist Information
If you require piano accompaniment, please email the Admin Team to request a contact list of available accompanists. You will be responsible for arranging rehearsals and handling payment directly with your chosen accompanist.
