The Central Coast Conservatorium’s music library includes a large collection of sheet music, instrument technique books, monographs and audio-visual materials available to our staff and students to use.
This incredible resource is wholly made up from donations gifted to the Conservatorium over many years by local institutions and members of the community.
About one-quarter of the collection, which comprises over more than 2000 items, is catalogued. A long view project of the Conservatorium is to catalogue the entire physical collection using the Raymond Fisher Music Classification system, which is used by both Sydney and Newcastle Conservatoriums of Music.
The library is open 2pm to 6pm on Fridays, and by request on Saturday mornings. You may request for items to be located by contacting customer service.
Both staff and students of the Conservatorium can sign items out under their tutor’s name. Items may be borrowed for 6 weeks; however, this can be extended by request.
