Each year, the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music supports its students through both competitive and non-competitive scholarship programs. These opportunities are made possible through the incredible generosity of our donors, supporters, and community partners who believe in the power of music education.

Our Competitive Scholarships are awarded to support students with excellent potential and talent as well as to encourage further study and achievement at the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music. There are various scholarships available to students based on their chosen instrument and age.

These scholarships include:

  • Richard Newton Central Coast Philharmonia Choir Vocal Scholarship:
    (14-22 years of age): $1,000.
  • Allen Family Junior Scholarships:
    (13 years and under): 
    1st place $750 | 2nd place $500 | 3rd place $250.
  • Irvine Family Piano Scholarship:
    (ages 10-22, Grade 5 and above): 
    $1,000.
  • The Music Centre Gosford Guitar Scholarships:
    (Junior: 13 years and under) Junior: $250.
    (Senior: 14-22 years of age) Senior: $500.
  • Allen Family Finals Senior Scholarships:
    (14-22 years of age): 1st place $3,000 | 2nd place $2,000 | 3rd place $1,000.
  • Pearl Beach Association Senior Scholarships:
    (14-22 years of age). 
    Various scholarship values are available. Scholarship Finals: Saturday, 23 May 2026.

Competitive Scholarships – 2026 Application Process & Key Dates; 

  1. Check Your Eligibility
    Before starting your application, please review the scholarship criteria for your age group, instrument/voice, and study area. This ensures you apply for the scholarship that best fits your ability and experience.
  2. Applications OpenThursday, 13 November 2025
    Complete the online application form and prepare your first-round video audition.
  3. Submit Your First-Round Video Audition5pm Saturday, 29 November 2025
    Applications and video submissions close
  4. First-Round Adjudication Results ReleasedMonday, 1 December 2025
    You will be notified by email if you have been selected to progress to the next round.
  5. If You Advance to Round Two: Attend a Live Audition.
    Audition time will be provided to successful Round 1 applicants.
    Junior Applicants: Friday, 12 December 2025
    Senior Applicants & Junior Irvine Piano Applicants: Saturday, 13 December 2025
  6. Scholarship Recipients AnnouncedTuesday, 16 December 2025
    Successful students will receive notification via email. Results will also be published on our website.
  7. Performance & Finals Events
    Scholarship recipients may be invited to participate in key Conservatorium events:
    Allen Family Finals & Supporters Concert: Saturday, 21 February 2026

    Pearl Beach Association Senior Musician Scholarship Competition Concert: Saturday, 23 May 2026
