About The Con

The Central Coast Conservatorium of Music Ltd (Conservatorium) is a leader in music education and performance and the principal provider of music education on the NSW Central Coast.

Our vision is to aspire to positively change lives and strengthen communities through excellent music education. We do this by seeking to secure a sustainable future for the delivery of quality music teaching, facilities and performance opportunities on the Central Coast.

Did you know Central Coast Conservatorium of Music is a registered not-for-profit organisation? We are funded by lesson fees, sponsorship and donations, with additional funding from the NSW Government. The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) has developed the Tick of Charity Registration (the Registered Charity Tick) for registered charities to show the public that they are registered with the ACNC.  The Registered Charity Tick aims to give reassurance to the public that registered charities are transparent and accountable by highlighting their presence on the ACNC Charity Register.  Please click here for the ACNC registration details of the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music. 

The Conservatorium is located in the CBD of Gosford in a recently refurbished historic building overlooking Brisbane Water.

We are funded by lesson fees, sponsorship, and donations, with additional funding from the NSW Government; and have more than 50 teachers on staff who deliver private and group lessons to close to 1,000 students with ensembles that feed the regional symphony, choirs and bands. Our alumni has gone on to national and international careers.

Central Coast Conservatorium of Music Ltd has been used for rehearsals and performances by various community groups, is the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) Central Coast Examination Centre, and plays an important role in the cultural development of our region.

The Conservatorium is a community-based organisation and member of The Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums.

All of our employees and Board members have completed their Working With Children Check (WWCC) and complete annual training on child safety. Our Child Safe policy can be found HERE.
