Ensembles

Playing with others is an essential part of learning music. Our Central Coast ensembles offer students of all ages and skill levels the chance to collaborate, perform, and have fun while developing their musical talents.

We offer a variety of specialised ensembles, including Flute Ensembles, Contemporary Ensembles, and Adult Ensembles, providing opportunities to explore different styles and perform in a supportive group environment.

Premier Ensembles Pathway

Our Premier Ensembles Program offers a clear progression for young musicians, starting with Primary Wind Ensemble, advancing through Junior and Senior Wind, and leading to the Central Coast Youth Orchestra. From there, select students may audition for the Regional Youth Orchestra of NSW.

Similarly, our Choir Program takes singers from Mini Voices to Children’s Choir and Youth Choir, with students often performing alongside the Central Coast Philharmonia Choir.

Primary Wind Ensemble

PWE is our entry-level Premier Ensembles band program for talented student musicians in Years 4 to 6.

Junior Wind Ensemble

JWE is designed for musicians in Years 6 to 8 and provides an important transition from primary to high school.

Senior Wind Ensemble

SWE is a our flagship wind ensemble for talented high school student musicians in Years 8 - 12.

Flute Ensembles

Central Coast Conservatorium of Music's Flute Ensembles are an opportunity to build ensemble skills, meet more flute players, work on new repertoire and have fun with your flute in a supportive environment.
