Our Keyboard Club offers fun and engaging keyboard lessons on the Central Coast through participation in 45-minute small group lessons.
Led by expert music teachers Aaron Carey and Hannah Lai, this exciting program helps students build a strong musical foundation. It develops techniques that support keyboard playing and can assist with any other instruments they choose in the future. Our keyboard Club is perfect for beginners aged 5-12 years old. No prior experience is needed – just a love for music & willingness to learn.
The keyboard is one of the best stepping stones for a child’s musical Journey. It introduces essential concepts such as rhythm and coordination making it easier to transition to other instruments in the future.
Additionally, research has found that the skills required to play the keyboard:
- Sharpen fine motor skills.
- Improve hand-eye coordination.
- Boosts cognitive and intellectual abilities.
- Improves memory.
- Increases spatial-temporal ability (which figures heavily in math and science).
- Can even make structural changes to the brain that stay with you for the rest of your life, making your brain more efficient both while playing and in extra-musical endeavours.
Keyboard lessons are a great way to develop these skills whilst having fun and learning music in a supportive environment.
Keyboard Club takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings in our dedicated Keyboard Lab on the Central Coast at 45 Mann Street, Gosford.
