Central Coast Conservatorium Junior + Senior Wind Ensembles South Coast Tour

Gerringong – Wollongong | Friday 1 – Sunday 3 August 2025

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for students in our Junior and Senior Wind Ensembles: a three-day musical tour to the stunning NSW South Coast, visiting Gerringong and Wollongong!

Over 3 days the ensembles will deliver school concert performances, collaborate and workshop with students from the Wollongong Regional Conservatorium culminating in a public concert in Wollongong on the final day.

In our search to provide great experiences for musical growth and inspiration for our students, ensemble touring has always been on our to-do list, the development and educational outcomes that music students gain on these tours can be incredible, create lasting memories and build enduring friendships with likeminded students.

The tour environment offers young musicians the chance to focus on their craft, improving their performance and teamwork skills while sharing ideas and the experience through cultural engagement with local students that can provide new perspectives and foster growth both as an ensemble and individually.

What’s in Store?

Over three action-packed days, students will:

  • Perform concerts at local schools
  • Collaborate and workshop with musicians from the Wollongong Regional Conservatorium
  • Showcase their talents in a public concert in Wollongong on the final day

This tour is designed to inspire and challenge our young musicians, providing:

  • Musical growth and development
  • Lasting memories and new friendships
  • Teamwork and performance skills
  • Cultural engagement and fresh perspectives

Accommodation & Activities

The group will stay at Chittick Lodge in beautiful Gerringong, just south of Wollongong. In addition to music-making, students will enjoy:

  • A relaxing beach walk
  • Sightseeing around picturesque Gerringong
  • Fun and downtime with friends

  • Departure: Friday 1st August, 7:00am from Central Coast Conservatorium
  • Return: Sunday 3rd August, approx. 8:00pm to Central Coast Conservatorium

To secure your child’s place on this unforgettable tour, please pay a $100 deposit HERE. Once your deposit has been received you will be sent an invoice to pay the final two instalments.

  • Installment 1: $195 due on June 30th
  • Installment 2: $195 due on July 26 (7 days before camp starts)

This tour requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If this number is not met, you will be notified in advance and receive a full refund.

FAQs

Refund Policy

Refund Policy & Key Dates for refund eligibility:

  • Cancellation prior to 12/06/25 (50 days before camp). Full refund of all payments except the deposit
  • Cancellation from 12/06/25 – 1/07/25. (30 days before camp). 50% refund of total amount paid (deposit still non-refundable)
  • Cancellation from 2/07/ 25 – 18/07/25. (15–30 days before camp). 25% refund of total amount paid (deposit still non-refundable)
  • Cancellation from 19/07/25. (14 days or less). No refund available

Note: If the organisers cancel the tour for any reason, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.

This tour requires a minimum number of participants to operate. In the event the minimum is not met, we will notify you in advance and provide full refunds.

Special Circumstances
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis in the case of a documented medical emergency, family emergency, or other unforeseen hardship. Please contact us directly at events@cccmusic.nsw.edu.au

Refund Process
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 14 business days of an approved request. To request a refund, email events@cccmusic.nsw.edu.au with the subject line “Refund Request – Student Full Name”.

Late or Missed Payments
Failure to make payments on time may result in the loss of your reserved spot. If you’re having trouble with a payment deadline, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.
