The Central Coast Conservatorium of Music is seeking support from community volunteers for its garden beautification project on Saturday 23rd of March.

The Conservatorium is housed in the historic old Gosford courthouse on the corner of Mann St and Georgiana Terrace. The building was sensitively upgraded three years ago and now offers the Robert Knox Hall for hire for small concerts, lectures and events.

The sandstone wall and wrought iron fence fronting Mann Street were restored during the upgrade, however the gardens were not landscaped or planted. Due the generosity of former board member, Hilary Day, and well-known author, exhibition and garden festival curator, ABC producer and horticulturalist, Meredith Kirton, we have an opportunity to replant the gardens, and beautify this historic corner of Mann Street.

We are inviting volunteers to help with this project. If you are a Central Coast Con teacher, parent or student or a community member who would like to contribute, we welcome any time you can give us to help plant out and mulch the gardens.

We will supply tea, coffee, cool drinks, food and somewhere to rest!  Come along and enjoy a great day out and watch your efforts yield wonderful results in years to come. You are welcome to attend for a couple of hours, or the whole day!

Date: Saturday 23rd of March 2025, 8.30am – 5pm

Where: Central Coast Conservatorium, 45 Mann Street, Gosford
