Instrumentalists and singers from Central Coast Conservatorium of Music are being invited to audition for the Youth in Performing Arts (YIPA) program.
Auditions for Con students will be held at Robert Knox Hall on Tuesday 4 April, 6pm-9pm.Â
YIPA is a chance for the cream of the region’s young talent, aged 12 to 21, to shine on stage at Laycock St Community Theatre in May.
Previous YIPA performers from the Conservatorium include flautist Elana Sydenham, vocalists Mia Cross, cellist Bradley Tham, violinist Kaito Deed and pianist Kimberly Gilbert, guitarist Min Ahn.
The auditions – which are held in schools and studios across the Coast – are open to all forms of entertainment such as dance, vocalists, instrumentalist, drama performers and bands.Â
In this, YIPA’s 31st year, the series of variety concerts will be held at Laycock St Community Theatre from May 18-21.
