Applications are now open for the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts 2024 Awards Program with awards of up to $5000 on offer.

This program is designed to celebrate and support young Central Coast individuals aged 15 to 25 who have a passion for the arts.

Last year eight Central Coast Conservatorium of Music students and alumni were awarded  Bouddi Foundation for the Arts grants to help further their music careers.

They were Theodore Brown (oboe), Xavier Cardozo (bassoon), Mia Cross (voice), Kaito Deed (violin), Jerome Drobot (guitar), Suzie Kim (viola), Xienna Miller (violin) and Elana Sydenham (flute).

“It is wonderful to see so many of our students recognised, across a wide range of musical genres from voice to guitar,” said Central Coast Conservatorium of Music Artistic Director, Patrick Brennan.

“These grants are invaluable in helping young Central Coast musicians fund tuition, upgrade their instruments and support them in their future artistic pursuits.”

This year, BFA has announced a new award – the Electrify Bouddi Award for Energy Conservation Awareness. The grant of up to $2000 will support an artistic submission inspired by the objectives of Electrify Bouddi – a not-for-profit community association for Bouddi residents and local businesses who want to reduce their climate impact, build climate resilience and save money on energy.

Applications close on 3 June 2024.
