Central Coast Conservatorium’s Robert Knox Hall is one of 20 Gosford venues taking part in the Gossy Weekender three-day live music discovery trail, featuring performances from Con teachers and set to transform the CBD into a buzzing entertainment hub from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 November.
The Con is hosting two free concerts on the Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday night catch talented psychedelic surf punk band Shacked from 5pm, singer-songwriter Tiali from 6.30pm and multi-instrumentalist Joel Leggett from 8pm in Robert Knox Hall.
On Saturday night, multidisciplinary Indigenous artist Mia Lovelock will be taking to the stage. Mia Lovelock is a multi-disciplinary artist, passionate about merging different art forms. Her creative journey has been deeply influenced by her upbringing in Arnhem Land and Papua New Guinea, as well as her connection to the salt waters and fresh waters of the Yuin and Kulin nations. Lovelock’s artistry encompasses music, visual art, and fashion, and her work reflects a commitment to sustainability, self-expression, and celebrating her Indigenous heritage.
Gossy Weekender is a brand new live music activation running over three days in Gosford’s newly established live music precinct in the CBD. The event will feature more than 80 musicians and bands playing across more than 20 local venues. It is a collaboration between Central Coast Council’s Live and Local initiative – supported by Central Coast Music & Arts and youth music charity Musicians Making a Difference.
The music will consist of a range of genres, including family friendly, all ages events and a large number of free events.Â
