Central Coast Youth Orchestra

The Central Coast Youth Orchestra (CCYO), our leading ensemble is renowned in the community for its exceptional level of musicianship and captivating performances. This orchestra plays a wide range of professional orchestral repertoire including symphonic standards and new contemporary works. The CCYO program develops the skill sets required of student orchestral musicians to perform in this genre. Many CCYO musicians go on to study music at a tertiary level as well as being involved with programs such as the Regional Youth Orchestra NSW.  

YOUTH ORCHESTRA Pre-requisites:
Woodwind: Min. AMEB 6 or equivalent
Brass: Min. AMEB 6 or equivalent
Percussion: Orchestral or Symphonic Wind Ensemble experience
Upper String: Min. AMEB 6 or equivalent
Lower String: Min. AMEB 5 or equivalent

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 5.00 - 7.00 pm
Location: Gosford Anglican Church, 3 Mann St
Conductor: Patrick Brennan

Auditions:  Entry is by audition.

Audition requirements: Students are require to play one scale and 1 piece of music of their choice that demonstrates their current playing level and skills. 
Auditions are held at the Conservatorium, 45 Mann Street Gosford
